Context changes how the same clip performs
A video's reception depends on what audiences currently care about, and that shifts. A clip that seemed unremarkable can become pointed once related events give it meaning.
Nothing in the file changes, but the response does, and the system reads that response as new evidence that the material is worth showing to more people.
The first audience is usually the wrong one
