At the Billboard Women in Music Awards, the blue carpet was full of jaw-dropping looks from Hollywood’s favorite stars. Unsurprisingly, Tyla brought her A-game—and all eyes were on her spider web dress. Even though she definitely wore one of the most memorable looks of the night, her neon nails were just as impactful. Above all else, she’s proving that a pop of color is exactly what you need to take an all-black look to the next level.
On Saturday, Tyla donned a see-through knit Jean Paul Gaultier dress. Like so many looks that night, Tyla championed the barely-there look. Less might be more when it comes to naked looks, but Tyla has never been one to skimp on the glamour. She finished off the outfit with a smokey eye and show-stopping neon nails—both of which added to the sexy nature of her JPG spider web look. We might not all be bold enough to wear an outfit like this, but we can still take major inspiration from Tyla’s nails for our next spring set.

Springtime is all about the nails, and Tyla’s electric lemon set is a masterclass on 2025 nail trends. The nail look, created by Saccia Livingston, elevated both her carpet and performance look by adding a vibrant touch. To accomplish the look, Tyla’s nail artist used Après products—first, she applied medium stiletto extensions to Tyla’s natural nails for extra drama, and then she painted on the highlighter-yellow color. As chic as a maximalist manicure can be, Tyla’s neon nails are proof that the right color is more than enough to turn heads.
Neon accents are bound to be huge this year. Because if you’re not big on pastel hues for the spring, highlighter shades are the ideal way to add color to your looks. Although wearing neon can seem a little daunting at first, a pop of color will make even the most basic outfits feel fresh. If you’re not one to stray from an all-black outfit, consider accessorizing with neon nails—just take it from Tyla.
