Travis Kelce is taking no BS from Kanye West. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end reacted to Kanye West’s appalling comments made towards Taylor Swift, and he wants to defend his girlfriend every chance he gets.
“I never was allowed to do the Super Bowl because of 3 moments,” West, who goes by Ye, wrote in a since-deleted post on X. “George Bush don’t care about black people. The Taylor Swift movement moment. Wearing a MAGA hat. How it feel to be the best living and blocked from the main stage because of being ahead of my time. (And I mean all of this before I went full [expletive] of course).”
In other deleted posts, Ye claimed that Swift had a threesome with two other famous singers. “Let me give you a case of racism,” and then added, “Harry Styles and Justin Bieber had sex with Taylor Swift from both.” He also expressed frustration about not being intimate with the singer. “I KNOW TAYLOR LIKE HOW THE HELL DOES HE KNOW THAT. I’M ANGRY I HAVEN’T SLEPT WITH TAYLOR SWIFT … YET,” he stated.
According to a source to the Daily Mail, the X posts were the final straw for the singer, and she reportedly filed a cease and desist against the rapper. “This time he has gone too far,” the source said. “His claims are not just false they are defamatory. This isn’t just [West] gossiping. This is [West] sexually harassing a woman, defaming her and intending to cause harm to her and to her career.”
Kelce reportedly wants to confront Ye “man to man” according to the source. Swift is “clearly upset” by the remarks and is left “frustrated.” The source claims that Ye’s tirades will “give more attention to the lies.” In turn, the tight end is “obviously supporting” his girlfriend through the tough time.
Before the X rants, the couple was reportedly taking a break from the public eye which led to ongoing secret engagement AND breakup rumors. One source told Us Weekly that the two were keen to experience a more “normal life” after the Eras Tour and the Super Bowl. Another source added that the couple “needed time for themselves,” explaining, “Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love. They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”
