Does Juliana Win The Bachelor 2025 & End Up With Grant?

Warning: The Bachelor Season 29 spoilers ahead. With Grant down to his final contestants, the chances of Juliana winning The Bachelor Season 29 just got better. But does she really end up with Grant and what happens in the end?

Juliana Pasquarosa, a 28-year-old Client Service Associate from Newton, Massachusetts, is one of 25 contestants on The Bachelor Season 29 led by Grant Ellis. Though Litia made it to Grant’s finale, fans — including Season 20 Bachelorette — don’t see their connection as strong as Grant’s relationship with his other finalists, including Litia Garr, a 31-year-old Venture Capitalist from Star Valley, Wyoming.

“They are very cute together. I love them together. I just feel like — at least watching this episode or just their relationship and how it’s progressed up until this point — I feel like they are each other’s safe space, but I don’t know if it’s necessarily the good safe space, if that makes sense. I feel like it’s the safe route or the safe option,” Charity said on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast in March 2025 of Grant and Juliana’s relationship. She continued, “I don’t like using that word because it sounds so bad when you say it out loud. We still have a couple weeks so I’m like, maybe the depth of it will progress.”

Of Litia, Charity agreed that she was the “strongest” of Grant’s finalists. “In comparison to everyone else, I feel like the conversation, substance, the depth of it, it goes beyond surface level, and that is what I’m looking for as a viewer watching this,” Charity said. “Like, ‘OK, how can I distinguish between who potentially is going to possibly be or become the fiancé, the wife later down the road?’ I feel like their conversations of what is shown at least is telling us like, ‘OK, this is like solid material, like this is a strong relationship.’” So what happens to Juliana? And does she win? Read on for what Reality Steve has reported.

Does Juliana win The Bachelor Season 29?

Yes, Juliana wins The Bachelor Season 29. According to Reality Steve, Grant gave his final rose and proposed to Juliana at the Final Rose Ceremony in The Bachelor Season 29 finale and the two got engaged. Grant’s runner-up was Litia Garr, a 31-year-old Venture Capitalist from Star Valley, Wyoming.

While Grant and Juliana end up with each other, Bachelor Nation fans aren’t convinced that the two are still together after Grant’s somber appearance during the “Women Tell All” special that fans believe is a clue he and his winner broke up after filming ended. (Season 21 Bachelorette Jenn Tran also faced similar theories before she revealed that she and her winner, Devin Strader, broke up in The Bachelorette Season 21 finale.)

“Grant did NOT look happy,” a user wrote on Reddit after the episode. “I don’t know that I’d consider this a spoiler because I am not spoiled on the ending but I have to say, Grant did not look happy at the WTA when Jesse was talking about the ending of the season/Grant’s ‘journey”‘ Y’all think he has a good poker face or that his pick and him have already ended things?”

Another user wrote, “Omg, he looked miserable! Either he was purposefully trying to look miserable and I can’t imagine why or he really was. And he didn’t look healthy either, dark circles under the eyes, washed out. Makes me actually not want to watch how it turns out if it is really going to be heartbreaking.”

One more user commented, “I think Grant is not happy that they are editing it to make it look like he was more torn than he was. He was interviewed recently and he said it wasn’t like that. I think he was more worried about breaking the heart of the one he was not selecting.”

Fans believe that Grant and Juliana may have broken up (or at least have issues in their relationship) due to The Bachelor and host Jesse Palmer teasing that Grant’s decision to choose Juliana came down to the last second.

In an interview with Us Weekly in January 2025, Jesse confirmed that a clip in The Bachelor Season 29 promo, which showed Grant not knowing who to choose at the Final Rose Ceremony until he was actually there, was a “real” moment. “It’s real,” Jesse said of his moment of indecision in the trailer. “And I don’t know if you could tell from watching that from my reaction, [but] I was surprised. That was something that I haven’t encountered yet as the host in the last four years on any of the franchises. Normally, I think, our leads have a little bit more clarity — a lot more clarity — heading into the final day. And I really think that’s how conflicted Grant really was.”

He continued, “They’re phenomenal every year for whoever our lead is [and] making that decision on the final day is always a very, very difficult decision, but I can appreciate some of why Grant was so conflicted. I’ll just say that. But absolutely without giving away too much, that was authentic and it’s real and it’s not an edit.”

Grant, however, seemed to deny Jesse’s claim and The Bachelor‘s editing in an interview with Us Weekly in March 2025 in which he claimed that he knew who he wanted to pick as his winner by Hometown Dates.

“I, honestly, was 100 percent sure because that’s what I came there for. I knew I was going to make things work,” Grant told Us Weekly. He also called out The Bachelor‘s editing in the promo for his finale, which made it seem like he didn’t make his decision for who he wanted to give his final rose to until the last minute. “[It] definitely wasn’t [down to] one hour,” he said, explaining that the moment of indecision seen in the trailer was due to “external factors” and not necessarily wavering feelings for his winner. “I’ve always been a really decisive person in terms of my career and everything in that field. … In high school, I was a star athlete and had to decide what college I went to, what major,” he said.

It’s not uncommon for Bachelor or Bachelorette winners to feel hurt after learning how close a lead’s decision was between them and someone else, which may be the reason why Grant was so fast to do damage control for how his finale looks. In an interview with People in 2017, Lauren Bushnell, who won The Bachelor Season 20 with Ben Higgins, opened up about the “hurt” she felt watching the finale and seeing her now-ex-fiance Ben profess his love for his runner-up before Lauren and Ben’s engagement. “I don’t think I’ve ever talked about how hurtful that was,” Lauren said. “I always try to be really strong because I wanted to move forward from it. But because I wanted to move forward from it, I don’t think I ever really opened up about how hard that was just in terms of, like, I wanted to make that decision to get engaged one time in my life and I felt like I wasn’t told everything that had happened.”

Lauren also confessed that what happened in the finale continued to affect her and Ben’s relationship for months to come. The two later split in May 2017. “When The Bachelor aired, reliving that months later wasn’t ideal either,” she said. “I was still like, ‘We’re going to move forward from this,’ but then the press, that’s what everybody wanted to talk about. I’ve never shared with anyone, except for Ben, how hurtful that situation was and how hard it is to continually talk about it over and over again when you’re trying to start a life with someone.”

She continued, “Looking back, I wish I could be like, ‘That’s why it didn’t work out,’ but I think it was just a very abnormal situation and one that unfortunately. I mean we tried.”

    The Bachelor streams on Hulu.
