Celebrity Big Brother UK has changed people’s lives—for better and for worse. For Jojo Siwa, it’s been an enlightening journey about her gender identity and sexuality, but some fans are noticing that she’s been very close to a male co-star.
Jojo Siwa has had quite the start on Celebrity Big Brother UK. The “Karma” singer was hate-crimed on national TV when Mickey Rourke called her a homophobic slur. (He later left following “instances of unacceptable behaviour.”) She later confided in several of her cast members about her sexuality and had quite a bond with Chris Hughes. During a live feed, the two were seen embracing each other and even peeing in a cat litter box together.
Some fans have noticed how tight-knit they were and speculated that there was something more happening between the two. At one instance too, the Love Island alum asked Jojo to lick chocolate off his shirts and she obliged. This caused many fans to panic with one person posting on X, “JOJO SIWA I DID NOT DEFEND YOU SO YOU COULD CHEAT ON YOUR PARTNER ON NATIONAL TV.” Another posted, “It’s interesting how JoJo seems sure that her girlfriend won’t care about her behaviour with Chris. Maybe they have an open relationship or they discussed boundaries before she entered the house.”
Did Jojo Siwa cheat with Chris Hughes?
No, Jojo Siwa did not cheat with Chris Hughes. The two did have a very intimate moment together when she was talking about her gender identity.
“You have female, you have male. I’ve met a lot of females, love them, don’t feel like I’m them. [I’ve] met a lot of males, love them, definitely not them,” she explained to her fellow castmates. “[I’ve] met a lot of people in my life that are non-binary, and these beautiful, non-binary people are who I feel most like, and it’s — I don’t know — it’s not something that I want to say about myself yet, but it’s something that is confusing.”
Jojo Siwa is currently in a relationship with her partner Kath Ebbs. When Jojo and Chris were seen cuddling on her bed, RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Danny Beard asked if her partner didn’t mind “throwing punches” at Chris, and Jojo went on to explain that Kath “wouldn’t mind” their close connection.
Just a day before, the Dance Moms alum clarified her sexuality. “I feel, like, so queer, do you know what I mean?” she told Danny. “I think that’s the thing. I’ve always told myself I’m a lesbian, and I think being here I’ve realized: ‘Oh, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer.’ And I think that’s really cool.”
