Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are taking things slow, as they should. The two are keeping a low-key profile after the Eras Tour and the Super Bowl, and they don’t want to be back in the spotlight yet.
A source told People that the couple is cherishing their time together after a busy year.”They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,” the insider aid. “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the “Lover” singer are “very serious and in sync,” with the source adding: “They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.” Well, that statement also throws in the towel for whether Taylor and Trav could make a surprise appearance at Coachella weekend 2 after ditching the desert festival last weekend.
And if that weren’t enough, other sources told Life & Style Magazine that the break was a great opportunity for them to solidify their relationship. “It’s been a dream period that’s only solidified that they’re on the same page about their future,” the source said. They also added that they’re planning the “next steps,” which include “amping up wedding discussions.”
Sources told Page Six that Travis and Taylor Swift “definitely discussed” the life-changing topic of retirement “as a couple.” And Taylor strongly opposed retirement. “She didn’t want Travis to retire,” an insider told the site. “She wanted him to go out on a high note.”
RadarOnline previously reported that Travis’s retirement decision might impact his relationship with Swift. “If Travis does retire, it could drastically change his and Taylor’s lives together. He would be around far more – and who knows, she may start to get sick of him!” the outlet said.
A source told Life & Style Magazine in April 2024, “Travis is eager to speed up their relationship timeline. He wants to marry Taylor right away and start a family as soon as she’s ready. Travis has been so broody that he’s told Taylor he’s open to having kids before a wedding!”
