I don’t know about you, but once the temps start creeping up and the sunshine sticks around, my shoe game totally shifts. Winter boots? They get tucked away real fast. And even though there’s still a little snow on the ground here in Telluride, I’m already reaching for lighter, easier, and cuter footwear.
This spring, I’ve found myself grabbing the same five pairs of shoes on repeat — and truly these are the only shoes you need. They’re comfy, chic, and versatile enough to take you from errands to date nights to beach vacations.

1. Espadrille Wedges
We’re starting off the list with one of my favorite styles. These platform wedges give you that perfect lift without making your feet hate you by the end of the night. I wear these any time I want to add major height without compromising comfort. These are great for everything from vacation outfits to brunch dates, casual weddings, or dinners. If you’ve been here for long, you know that I am all for shoes with some height. So if you’re petite like me, you’re going to love these chic, comfy, and easy to walk in Odissi wedges! They also have this style that is a little bit shorter if you don’t want quite as much height.
Why I love them: They’re polished but still so easy. And they scream summer in the very best way. The gold will also go with everything.
2. Mesh Heels
Okay, hear me out on this next pair. These were kind of a wild card at first, but now I’m obsessed. Mesh heels feel fresh and fun, and they add a trendy twist to even the simplest outfit. This pair by Dolce Vita is comfortable (for heels), fashionable, easy to pair with anything in your closet, and they’re super affordable! I always suggest spending 80% of your wardrobe budget on the basics, and 20% on trends, so if you’re shopping for trendy shoes, a more affordable option is excellent!
Why I love them: They’re unexpectedly chic, they go with everything and are the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.
3. Closed-Toe Castañer Wedges
These gorgeous closed-toe espadrilles are a longtime favorite of mine. I first fell in love with this style while living in Spain, and I’ve been reaching for them every spring and summer since. They’re timeless, elegant, and so easy to wear.
Compared to the Odissi wedges I mentioned earlier, these have a slightly lower platform—which makes them perfect for days when you want something stylish but a little more comfortable. The closed-toe design adds just the right touch of polish for more elevated moments.
Style Tip: I highly recommend having both a light and dark wedge in your rotation. It gives you maximum versatility for pairing with everything in your wardrobe, from crisp whites to darker neutrals.

Last on the list of my go-to shoes, are the ultimate grab-and-go sandals. They’re comfy, breezy, and add just enough style to elevate a basic outfit. I throw these sandals on with literally everything—flowy dresses, gauzy cotton pants, denim shorts—anything. They’re that pair that somehow just works with every single outfit and they come in 18 different colors!
Why I love them: They’re simple in the best way—neutral, versatile, and basically summer’s version of a no-brainer.
